Website review · Christchurch A free, honest look at the site you have now.
Send me your website and I’ll write back with what’s costing you enquiries — and what I’d change first. Plain English, no jargon, no sales call.
What you get
What I look at.
Most local businesses I meet are good at what they do and badly served online: a site that loads slowly, falls apart on a phone, and never turns a visitor into a phone call. The review shows you where yours stands.
- What loads slowly — and how long someone on a phone is left waiting before they give up.
- What falls apart on a phone — layouts, buttons and forms that work on a desktop and break on a small screen.
- What a customer can’t find — your number, your prices, your hours, or what to do next.
- What I’d change first — in order, so you know where the effort pays back soonest.
How it works
Three steps, no catch.
-
Send me your site
Use the enquiry form or email me. A link and a sentence about the business is enough. I reply within one working day.
-
I take a proper look
I go through it the way your customers do — on a phone as well as a computer — and note what’s getting in their way.
-
You get a written list
Plain English, no jargon, with what I’d change first. No sales call.
Afterwards
The list is yours either way.
If you want me to fix it, I’ll quote you for it — one fixed figure, in writing, before I start.
If you’d rather hand the list to someone else, or fix it yourself, it’s yours either way. I’d still rather Christchurch had fewer bad websites in it.
Questions
Fair things to ask.
Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no invoice for the review and nothing to sign. If you want work done afterwards, that’s quoted separately — and only if you ask.
Will you try to sell me something?
No sales call. The review ends with what I’d change first; what you do with it is up to you.
Do I need to give you any logins?
No. I look at your site the way a customer does, so a link is all I need.
Who is it for?
Anyone with a website that should be bringing in more enquiries — mostly small businesses in Christchurch and around Canterbury, because that’s who I build for.
